Desperately waiting for the green light to safely travel somewhere other than the grocer’s? Well it’s finally here. As you probably heard, England just introduced travel corridors which will begin 10 July 2020. With this new concept, people will not have to self-isolate when they arrive in England after stopping in or traveling to any of the countries with travel corridor exemption. This applies to all travel to England – including train, ferry, coach, air or any other route. It’s important to note, however, if you do so much as stop or lay over somewhere not on this list, you will still have to self-isolate for 14 days once you arrive in the UK.

Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are exempt as they are part of the common travel area.
Know that you will have to abide by coronavirus requirements in the country you travel to. This may include self-isolating or providing your details to local authorities.
Before you arrive in the UK, you will have to complete a passenger locator form where you will disclose exactly where you’ve been and where you’re coming from. This applies to both visitors and UK residents.
