With an annual Guy Fawkes bonfire has been held at Battle in East Sussex for over 300 years. So grab yourself a costume as Halloween is not over and take part in this unusual bonfire night.
Sheffield, Yorkshire

There’ll be fireworks, of course and a beautiful barbecue too, so much shows you wrap up warm and unleash your inner Viking.
Cambridge, Midsummer Common
If you’re studying in Cambridge this year and want to try something different than the regular partying, why not visits the lovely Midsummer Common in central Cambridge. With over 25,000 people attending its annual fireworks display, this is one place not to miss. There will be fire dancers, funfairs, food and a ceremony of the lighting of the bonfire. So make sure you get there nice and early as it finishes at 10pm.
