If you’re looking for something to rock your boat then you must head down to the London Boat Show this spring. There will be a ten day bonanza of all the different types of waterborne transport. During the day there will be a chance to try out these spectacular boats in a 4D show experience. Alternatively if you’re looking to enhance your knowledge there will be talks and seminars on everything you need to know to make your boat adventure happen.
Edinburgh Summer School
Though starting in the Summer, the spring term is a great chance to think about how to further apply yourself especially if you don’t plan on going back home for the summer break. With so many courses to choose from, you’ll gain a range of experience and knowledge from the Edinburgh University Summer School. Not only is Edinburgh University a fantastic place to study, but it’s situated it one of the most stunning destinations in the UK. There’s so much to do in this city that your summer will be packed full of new and unique experiences, alongside learning a thing or two.
Classic Motor Show
Join the thousands of fanatics, car specialists and engineers at the Alexandra Palace in mid- March. This will be one of the largest exhibitions of vintage, Edwardian and extremely rare vehicles, so if you’re a thrill seeker or a historian buff then this is one event you don’t want to miss.
Canary Wharf Ice Rink
Though the winter may be over, you’ll still be able to skate away at Canary Wharf’s Ice Rink. With a beautiful backdrop why not get your friends together for a bit of shopping and some hot food after you get your dancing on ice on. The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race
We haven’t gone boat mad but we do suggest you joining the crowds on the 11th April for the four and a quarter mile course from Putney to Mortlake for the Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race. Release your competitive side and see if your favourite wins.
Women of the World Festival
With so much ongoing debates about women’s rights and equal pay, why not gain a deeper insight by visiting Southbank this spring. There will be a festival celebrating all things, great about women and girls from the past to the present. With special guests lined up you would not want to miss the chance to debate, watch films, comedies and even participate in workshops with other like-minded individuals. This is a great chance to socialise and meet new people.
Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty
With so many art and fashion students flocking to the UK, London has been known as one of the fashion capitals of the world. Why not grab your friends together for one of the most popular fashion exhibitions in history. Savage Beauty is the first retrospective of Alexander Mcqueen and will be coming to London this spring !
